Re: Personal blog or hobby blog?
I've read about Quack's post about Personal or Hobby Blog. And here is my thought.
I have read Robert Birming's Blog and I think he hits the nail on blogging.
I genuinely think you should just blog without pressure and any posts is a good post. The only post that is bad is when they don't get posted even though it should be. And don't regret not sharing them later on.
You don't need to conform to what other blogs may be. Your blog is uniquely you. If you ever feel like, "right, I want/"have the urge" to share this publicly on this blog even though this might not be 40k related", then be free to blog it without pressure. If you don't feel like sharing and keeping it private, that is also fine. And I personally think that regardless of what you may have decided to do with Quack About blog, it will always be uniquely you.
And what makes us feeling burnt out on social media, or at least what I think it might be, is when we overshare everything that we may not want to share it (be it in it's own post or as an response to someone else's posts) and therefore, creates this view of "I need to keep sharing this side of me to keep up with appearance" and not "posting because I find it fun to share it".
Thanks for reading. <3
