The Land Where Turbie Games

RE: Why do I care if Google likes my blog?

So I came across Mike's post about "Do I care if Google likes my blog".

Have you ever opened Google.com and entered site:your-domain-name to see if any of your blog posts have been indexed? Or do you look at your analytics and get a twinge of excitement when you see Google referring traffic to your blog? - Mike

For me, I'm personally more of a "Analytics" person. I like to see where the traffic came from. Which device they used and where they might be.

Interesting numbers from this blog alone, 156 people are using IOS and MacOS combined but only 113 of them are using Safari to read my posts. I will never get tired of looking at it thinking, "I wonder what the other 43 people in the Apple ecosystem are using when it comes to browsers".

Even more interestingly, I have 27 searches from Kagi search engine (all time)! And wait a god dang minute, I ... have a referrer link from Imperfect's blog?

Either way, I don't generally mind or care if it got indexed or not. I'm just a little small bean living in my little own small bean world's corner. But if I have to pick, I would be more of a analytics kind of person.
