And I found myself sharing the same sentiments with PretendTypewriter when it comes to a couple of things.
- I too, check analytics frequently. Referrers are very interesting too.
- As much as I'd like to have some traffic, but I don't really care about SEO that much.
- I don't like to make money from blogs.
For 2nd point, I want to be as genuine as possible without using keywords just to make my blog appear higher on SEO. And that way, I can get across my point as genuinely as possible. Even if it might not make sense to some people. And oh, good to know that I have 93 referrer from Kagi.
For the 3rd point, it felt like too much work to earn money just by blogging. Blogging meant to be fun, not a tool to earn 6 figures annually.
And one thing that is different from PretendTypewriter was, I kinda enjoy knowing how many upvotes my post gets. It helps me gauge on the popularity of certain topics. And knowing that, I'm not gonna post more of those [insert popular topic] unless I have a decent opinion on [insert popular topic] that I may come across.

How did you end up where you ended up?
Well, I blogged about it in details here. Ironically enough, it was a response to other post too.
TL:DR: Was looking for alternative to Linktree but ended up with Blogging with a page dedicated to my Socials. Used to blog a decade earlier under different alias.
Another question from Chloe:
Elaborate on your pages: How many do you have? What's your favorite? What's your least updated? Which one do you look at the most for your own pleasure?
I have 28 pages so far. My favourite page at this moment in time is, Customisable Previous/Next. And in case if you remember me saying this recently, I blogged about it few days ago, in details too on how it came about.
Least updated? that would be specific topic pages (eg. CSS, Gaming) and also the main page for topics. Since all it takes is using {{ posts|tag:<insert tag> }} in those pages and it will automatically includes any past and future posts with that tag there. So probably the least update done by me. At least manually. If topics/tags doesn't count, then it shall be Current Obession.
Thoughts is the one I'd look at the most because I know what my thoughts are 2-3 weeks ago. And what are my current thoughts.
Yet another question from Chloe:
If you don't have one, are you considering purchasing a domain name?
I probably will never purchase domain name. Not the biggest fan when it comes to subscriptions, in general. I would like to clarify that I understand with your domain, you're not dependent on blog hosting services' (like Bear or Blogger) TOS and owns all your content.
It's just that I grew up in the 90's without subscriptions and when we could own physical discs (now it's just Spotify, Apple Music, YT music etc. and those musics can be taken down whenever).
And the fact that Bearblog allows you to export1 your site?
Something I know very well that Blogger and Google Sites do not have one. At least 12 years ago when I last blogged (on their site).

- Which smaller bloggers that you've came across, should people know about? And what do they write about?

Alright, alright. Drop your pitch forks. I know some blog hosting services allows you to export these days but back in my day, 12 years ago, back when I only knew Blogger and Google Sites... they do not have this option. Or at least that's how I remembered.↩
